Helena Historical Museum

Charles Russell is an institution in Montana as well as the entire West. I read his philosophy and it says it all. He started as a cowboy and even though he was a lousy one he was in great demand because he entertained his co-workers with stories he made up. He then got into painting and the rest is history.

This is the most famous buffalo in the world, and out here it is more well known than Buffalo, that city in New York. See info/biography below about Big Medicine.

I am doing some shopping for Miss Sassy's birthday which is at the end of this month, I am pretty sure it is either the 29th or the 30th. Anyway, I think she would look marvelous in that head dress. It is so her, and she will look super standing beside that totem pole and horseshoe ram we will be having in our front yard. It will be so cool.
