Pollock SD to Selby SD

I continued along route 1804 on leaving Pollock and it continued to provide beautiful country. Except for being given near heart attacks by those exploding pheasants this was a great ride. It was only about 50 miles and I had every intention of traveling further I stopped at Selby. There was a moderate headwind all day (what else) and I got a late start because of gabbing with those Gerhardts .

Lots of stuff like this to see along the way.

There are all sorts of valleys like this one leading to the Missouri River in the distance.

The Mighty Mo makes a turn here .

  1. You should stop in at BMI and get yourself a gatling gun mounted to your bike. Then you can scare the geese long before you cruise past them. (Shooting only blanks, of course)
